Why install the Chrome extension?

  • Sync contacts from LinkedIn into Centralize without switching tabs or entering data manually.

  • Keep contact details current, including titles and companies, pulled directly from LinkedIn.

  • Speed up prospect research by importing profiles straight into the platform.

Before you start

  • Google Chrome must be installed on your computer.

  • You'll need to be logged into app.usecentralize.com before using the extension.

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and open the Centralize extension listing.

  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm in the popup.

  3. Click the puzzle-piece icon in your Chrome toolbar, find Centralize, and click the pin icon so it's always visible.

  4. Click the extension icon and log in with your Centralize credentials.

Sync a LinkedIn contact

  1. Visit any LinkedIn profile page.

  2. Click the Centralize extension icon to import the contact.

Hide the Centralize button on LinkedIn

As of Chrome Extension v2.5.2, you can hide the floating Centralize button that appears on linkedin.com pages — useful if you'd rather it not be visible while screen sharing on calls.

  1. Open the extension panel.

  2. Click the three-dot menu.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Toggle off "Show Centralize button on LinkedIn."

Tip: You can still open the extension panel any time, even with the button hidden — use the Chrome Extension icon in your toolbar, or right-click anywhere on a page and select "Open Centralize."

Using the extension in Arc or other non-Chrome browsers

Centralize's extension uses Chrome's sidebar API, which some Chromium-based browsers — including Arc — don't support. If the extension won't open normally in your browser:

  1. Install the Centralize extension from the Chrome Web Store as usual.

  2. Open a new browser window and go to chrome-extension://eaeeccogahiclnlbnibaanclhaadbega/sidepanel.html.

  3. Arrange this window alongside your main browser window (for example, side-by-side) so you can use the extension while browsing LinkedIn.

Note: This is a workaround, not a native integration — browsers that don't support Chrome's sidebar API aren't officially supported by the extension.
