Why connect Gmail?

Email is where many of your most important customer conversations happen. Connecting your Gmail account automatically syncs email touchpoints into Centralize, giving your team greater visibility into customer engagement across every connected inbox.

When you connect Gmail, you can:

  • Automatically sync email touchpoints between your Gmail inbox and Centralize.

  • View customer engagement across contacts and accounts without manually logging emails.

  • Build a more complete picture of customer relationships by combining activity from multiple connected inboxes.

  • Allow executives and other team members to contribute engagement data without sharing email content.

Connect your Gmail account

  1. Navigate to Integrations.

  2. Locate Gmail and click Connect.

  3. Sign in with the Google account you use for work when prompted.

  4. Review the requested permissions.

  5. Click Allow to authorize Centralize to access your Gmail.

  6. Once the connection is complete, the Gmail integration will display Connected.

Sync without sharing email content

If you'd like to contribute engagement data without syncing email content, ask your Centralize administrator to enable Omit Content for your account.

With this setting enabled, Centralize syncs email metadata—including the sender, recipient, date, and subject line—while excluding the body of your emails. This allows executives and other users with sensitive inboxes to contribute relationship activity without exposing email content.
