Before you start

  • Account Map filters are available on any activated account.

  • Default filters are set by admins. Reps can create and save their own custom filters.

  • Saved filters created by teammates are visible and accessible to your full team.

Understand filter indicators

Open the default filter to review which Functions, Seniority levels, and Tags are active — if every option is selected, the filter displays as All.

A number displayed next to a filter module indicates that filter is currently active. Click into the module to see exactly which options are applied, then adjust the filter criteria to refine who appears on the Account Map.

Adjust Account Map filters

Click any filter module to see what's applied and make changes. For example, click into Function to select the departments you want included on your Stakeholder Map. The available modules are:

  • Show all — show every contact on the map, regardless of filters.

  • Buying Role — filter by contacts with assigned buying roles.

  • On Opportunity — filter by contacts who are on the opportunity. This includes contacts with and without a buying role.

  • Activity — toggle this on to filter by time, channel, direction, and engaged by (see Filter by activity below).

  • Added to Map — show only contacts added to the map within a time window: Any time, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or a Custom range.

  • Function — filter by department or team (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Sales).

  • Seniority — filter by level (e.g., VP+, Director, Manager, IC).

  • Location — find contacts in a specific location.

  • Tags — filter by custom tags applied to contacts.

  • Sentiment — filter by rep-assigned sentiment (supporter, detractor, neutral, or unknown).

  • Warm Connections — filter to include all contacts, show only warm connections, or exclude warm connections from the map.

  • Has Alumni Strength — toggle to see contacts who changed jobs in the past 180 days, previously worked at an existing customer, or were previously on an opportunity at an existing customer.

Filter by activity

The Activity module lets you filter contacts based on engagement signals:

  • Time — activity within specific timeframes.

  • Channel — filter by email, call, calendar, or Slack activity.

  • Direction — filter by inbound vs. outbound activity.

  • Engaged By — see activity by specific teammates.

Save and reuse filters

Once you've configured a filter, you can save it for future use.

  1. Set your desired filter options.

  2. Click Save Filter and give it a name.

  3. Your saved filter will appear in the filter menu for you and your teammates to access.

Note: Default persona filters can only be updated by admins.

Access and modify saved filters

Saved filters created by anyone on your team are visible in the filter menu. Click into any saved filter to review what's applied and modify it as needed.

Tip: Test existing filters before creating new ones — a teammate may have already built what you need.
