Stakeholder Map
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Navigate your account by starting with the Stakeholder Map — your at-a-glance view of who you know, where they sit, and what gaps you still need to fill. It's the first place to start when you're navigating an account in Centralize.

What the Stakeholder Map shows
The Stakeholder Map shows:
Engagement: people you've engaged with, or who have engaged with you.
Warm connections: first-degree LinkedIn connections for everyone who has synced their LinkedIn network to Centralize.
Opportunity stakeholders: anyone associated with an opportunity, tagged with their buying role (e.g. Economic Buyer, Champion). If a contact holds more than one buying role on an opportunity in your CRM, all of their roles now show in Centralize, not just one.
Note: Not all CRM contacts are automatically included in the Stakeholder Map. The map is built from warm engagement signals and opportunity membership — not your full CRM contact list.
What's included (and what isn't)
Included automatically
Contacts you've engaged with
Contacts who have engaged with you
Warm connections
Contacts on an opportunity
Not included automatically
Contacts that only exist in your CRM but have no engagement and aren't tied to an opportunity
How the Stakeholder Map is organized
Your Stakeholder Map is automatically created and segmented by:
Function / team (e.g., Marketing, Finance, IT)
Seniority level (e.g., Manager, Director, VP)
When you log into Centralize, you'll see the contacts you're already warm with mapped into the org by where they sit and how senior they are — no manual work required.
Tip: If your org's buying-role list is long or includes roles your team doesn't use, your admin can limit which buying roles appear on the map — in filters, the legend, and the "Add buying role" picker — under Settings. This keeps the map focused on the roles that actually matter to your team.
How to use it
Use the Stakeholder Map to:
Get an instant view of where you are in the account today.
Spot gaps in your multi-threading strategy.
Identify missing key decision makers for your ICP persona.
Example: If your ICP is Marketing and you're only connected to a Manager and Director, the VP section may be blank — this is a signal that you should identify and pursue the VP of Marketing.
Tip: Clicking a contact from the main search bar now takes you directly to that account's Stakeholder Map, centered on the contact with their contact card open — instead of the Contacts tab.
Quick actions on contact cards
You can take the most common contact actions right from a contact's card on the Stakeholder Map or Org Chart — without opening the full contact sheet.
Hover over a contact's card and click the ⋯ (three-dot) menu in its top-right corner.
Choose an action:
Draft Email — generate a personalized email draft for the contact.
Request Intro — ask a teammate with a warm connection to introduce you.
Generate Call Prep — get a call prep brief for the contact, even without a meeting on the calendar.
Create Task — create a task tied to the contact.
Add to Sequence — add the contact to a sequence in your connected sales engagement tool (for example, Add to Amplemarket Sequence).
Add CRM contacts to your map
If you want to browse contacts that exist in your CRM — even if they're not yet warm in Centralize — you can pull them into your Stakeholder Map.
Click CRM Contacts to expand the list.
Select the contacts you want to add. Centralize pulls in their name and title, and attempts to match their LinkedIn profile.
Click + Add to Map to place them on the Stakeholder Map according to their function and seniority level.

Add a contact that isn't in your CRM yet
The CRM Contacts list only surfaces people who already exist in your CRM. If someone isn't there yet — and isn't showing up in Centralize search — you can add them directly from LinkedIn instead.
Navigate to the contact's LinkedIn profile.
Open the Centralize Chrome extension.
Use the extension to create the contact in Centralize.
Once they're created, they'll be searchable in Centralize and can be added to your Stakeholder Map the same way as any other contact.
Related: For a manually maintained, shareable view of the account's reporting structure, see Org Chart.
