Pull account domains from a Salesforce field
If your team tracks all of an account's domains in one Salesforce field (for example, an "All Domains" field), Centralize can read that field and add each domain to the matching account. More domains on an account means Centralize can match more of your emails, meetings, and contacts to it.
Click Settings in the lower left-hand corner of Centralize.
Under Integrations, click Salesforce.
In the Accounts section, scroll down to Email domains from Salesforce.
Click the Account field dropdown and select the Salesforce field that holds your domains.
Click the Separators dropdown and select every separator used in that field (e.g., comma or semicolon). If the field only ever holds one domain, leave it set to Single domain (no separators).
If your separator isn't listed, type it in Other separator and click Add separator.
Click Preview 10 active accounts to check that the domains are split correctly. The preview also shows which domains are already on each account.
Click Save to turn on the mapping.
Click Sync existing active accounts to add domains to the accounts you already have.
Heads up: Saving the mapping applies to future Salesforce updates only. To add domains to your existing accounts, click Sync existing active accounts (available once you've saved).
A few things to know:
Only active accounts are synced. If you activate more accounts later, click Sync existing active accounts again to add their domains.
Domains are only ever added. Existing domains on an account stay in place, even if you change or turn off the mapping.
Personal email domains (e.g., gmail.com) and your own company's domains are skipped.
If a domain is already mapped to a different account, Centralize won't move it. Contact Support if a domain needs to be moved.
