Before you start

  • Each team member connects their own Salesforce account. This is a per-user integration, not an admin-level one.

  • Have your Salesforce login credentials ready.

  • Have your MFA verification method available (email, authenticator app, etc.).

Connect your Salesforce account

  1. Navigate to Integrations in the sidebar.

  2. Click Connect on the Salesforce (Individual) card.

  3. Enter your Salesforce credentials and click Log In.

  4. Complete identity verification if prompted.

  5. Click Allow to authorize the connection.

  6. Once setup is complete, the integration status will update to Connected.

Tips

  • If you don't see the Salesforce (Individual) card, check with your admin — you may need additional permissions.

  • If the connection fails after login, confirm your Salesforce org allows third-party app connections. Some orgs require admin approval.

  • Not all orgs require identity verification. If you skipped that step, the connection may still complete successfully.

Sync tasks to Salesforce

Send task changes from Centralize to Salesforce. This is an organization-wide setting, and it's off by default.

Before you start:

  • Salesforce must be connected with an admin connection that has write access. A personal Salesforce (Individual) connection alone won't turn this on.

  • Tasks must be turned on for your organization.

  • In Settings → Salesforce, Treat Salesforce as read-only must be off.

  1. Go to Settings → Salesforce.

  2. Open Activities and write access.

  3. Turn on Sync tasks to Salesforce.

Good to know:

  • Sync is one way, from Centralize to Salesforce. Edits made in Salesforce don't come back to Centralize.

  • Eligible task changes sync once it's on. Existing tasks aren't copied over in bulk.

  • If you turn it off, activities already in Salesforce stay there.

  • Each Centralize task creates one Salesforce task. Later changes in Centralize, including marking it complete, update that same Salesforce task.

  • Changes made in Centralize can overwrite edits made to the task in Salesforce. To keep a change, make it in Centralize.
