Add Contacts to Your Account Map via LinkedIn

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Centralize integrates directly with LinkedIn via a Chrome Extension, making it easy to add contacts to your account maps. There are 3 ways to add contacts depending on how you're sourcing them.

Before you begin

Make sure the Centralize Chrome Extension is installed in your browser — all three methods require it. If you haven't installed it yet, see Install the Centralize Chrome Extension.

Method 1: From a Contact's LinkedIn Profile

Best for: Adding a single, specific contact one at a time.

  1. Navigate to the contact's LinkedIn profile you want to add to Centralize.

  2. Click the Centralize Chrome Extension icon on the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Confirm the correct account is selected, then click Add Contact to Map. The contact is added to the map immediately, and Centralize begins enriching them with email and location data in the background.

  4. While enrichment runs, update the contact's details right in the extension — no need to wait:

    • Manager — assign who this contact reports to.

    • Sentiment — mark them as a Champion, Blocker, Neutral, etc.

    • Buying Role — identify them as a Decision Maker, Influencer, End User, etc.

    • Tags — apply any relevant labels for filtering and organization.

Click See in Account Map to jump directly to the contact within Centralize.

Note: The contact will appear on your map in the correct function and seniority level. Enrichment (email, location) completes in the background without interrupting your flow.

Method 2: From a Sales Navigator Lead List

Best for: Importing a pre-built list of contacts from a specific account saved in Sales Navigator.

Important: All contacts in the lead list must be from one account, since they need to map to a single account in Centralize.

  1. Open Sales Navigator and click into the Leads tab.

  2. Select the lead list containing the contacts you want to add.

  3. Click View in Search to open the lead list in the search view.

  4. Click the Centralize Chrome Extension icon to open it.

  5. Select your contacts — use Select All in Sales Navigator, or click Select All in the top right of the Centralize extension.

  6. Confirm the correct account is selected in the extension.

  7. Click Sync to push the contacts into Centralize.

Method 3: From a Sales Navigator Search

Best for: Running a targeted search in Sales Navigator and importing results directly into Centralize.

Important: Contacts must all be from one company, since they need to map to a single account in Centralize.

  1. In Sales Navigator, go to Leads and filter by the company you're targeting. Add any additional filters to narrow down the contacts you want.

  2. Click the Centralize Chrome Extension icon to open it.

  3. Select your contacts:

    • One by one: Check the box next to each contact's name in Sales Navigator or from within the Chrome Extension.

    • Bulk select: Use Select All in Sales Navigator or within the Chrome Extension. Note: if results span multiple pages, you'll need to select all contacts per page.

  4. Specify the account the contacts should map to.

  5. Click Sync to add the contacts to the map in Centralize.

FAQ

What happens after I add a contact? Centralize automatically enriches the contact with their email and location data, pushes them to Salesforce, and places them on the account map in the correct function and seniority level.

Can contacts be from different companies in the same import? No. For Sales Navigator imports (both lead list and search), all contacts must belong to one account so they can be correctly mapped in Centralize.

What can I do with a contact once they're added? As soon as the contact is added to the map, you can set their manager, sentiment, buying role, and tags directly in the Chrome Extension — enrichment runs in the background so your flow is never interrupted. If you have Outreach or Gong Engage connected, you can also add them to a sequence. Click "See in Account Map" to view them in context on the Centralize map.

What if contacts span multiple pages in Sales Navigator? When using Method 3 (SalesNav Search), you'll need to select all contacts on each page separately before syncing.

The extension won't sync my lead list. What should I do? Open the lead list and click View in Search first (step 3 of Method 2). The extension can only select and sync contacts from the search view, not from the lead list page itself.
